It’s a breath of fresh air after a long winter – and it all begins at 2:45 p.m., as middle school mariachis – Travis’s “Los Linces” – serenade us in the lobby before the concert!

Students from Irving high schools join the full orchestra “side by side” to welcome summer with:

• Copland’s An Outdoor Overture,
• Bartok’s Romanian Folk Dances,
• Dvorak’s Slavonic Dances,
• Wagner’s Overture to The Flying Dutchman,
• and Sibelius’ Finlandia.
