DESCRIPTION:It’s spring\, and time for some music full of colors!  Join us for Beethoven’s dramatic Coriolan Overture… Berlioz’ exciting Hungarian March from The Damnation of Faust… Saint-Saens’ spirited Bacchanal from Samson et Dalila … and Bizet’s thrilling Carmen Suite no. 1\, as selected Irving high school musicians perform with us. \nBut the music that will really dazzle is the lovely Violin Concerto no. 1 by Bela Bartok\, the Hungarian composer\, as performed by our Romanian-born concertmaster\, Dr. Adrian Demian\, soloist.
