DESCRIPTION:2:30 p.m. – Cheers! – our annual silent auction– in Carpenter lobby. Open an hour before the concert and at intermission\, this provides needed funds to close our season of “Sundays at the Symphony” concerts and our work with Irving schools. More than 100 musical groups\, theaters\, museums and restaurants and other groups offer us gift certificates or season tickets. Bidding begins at 50% of their value.
